Hi and thanks for checking out our first blog post in a long time.
Lots has happened since our last post. We have moved to Toronto! It has been over a year now and no complaints (except for the weather). We don't have a store front but our commercial kitchen is located in the west end of the city.
Slowly but surely we are growing. We have signed on with Avid Gourmet, a distributor of artisanal food products here in Ontario, and Monkey Butter is hitting the shelves in lots of new stores. For a complete list, check our store locator.
Fall is right around the corner and that means we are gearing up production for the Christmas season shows. This year we are heading back to Vancouver for the Circle Craft Christmas show which runs from November 11th until the 15th at the Vancouver Convention Centre. From there we are heading to Calgary for Art Market which takes place at the Telus Convention Centre from November 19th to the 22nd. After that we are back to Toronto for the One of a Kind Show at the Direct Energy Centre from November 26th to December 6th. This is the time of year when we experiment with new Feature Flavours. Of course we will make the favourite Gingerbread PB but fans can expect to see some new and unique flavours such as Birthday Cake PB complete with sprinkles, Pistachio PB as well as some savoury blends like Sweet Onion PB and Chinese 5 Spice PB. We will have giveaways for tickets for all the shows, so please check out our Facebook page for your chance to win.
Last but not least, there might be a glimmer of hope for those who suffer from peanut allergies! Researchers in Australia have discovered a possible treatment. Wouldn't it be great if one day soon, kids could take PB sandwiches to school again?!
